Grade a .FLR Result File

Print this Topic Return to chapter overview

Note: This session uses features exclusive to WinFlash Educator. If you aren't using Educator, you won't be able to do this segment of the Tutorial.

In this session you'll grade and create a printout of the Results (.FLR) File from the COMPOUT.FLT test file that you took in Tutorial 5, Taking A .FLT-file Test.

1. Start Educator and choose View Test Result (.FLR) File from the Educator menu.

2. Select the .FLR file that was created in Tutorial 5 (the file would be named JPJ10912.FLR in the case of the example given in Tutorial 5) in the Open Test Result File dialog from the ..\Tutorial directory. This is the file that was produced when you exited from COMPOUT.FLT.

3. Note that the results of ALL questions may be shown/printed or, if desired, only the incorrect results can be shown/printed - depending upon whether or not the Show/Print Only Incorrect or Skipped Answers checkbox is checked.

4. Check out the Scoring and Column Format selection options as well as the One Line per Entry check box and view the report in the Print Preview each way to see which format you prefer.

Note: Any Q&A pairs which show no entry in either the Question or Actual Answer column were not viewed by the test taker before exiting the test.

5. Close the Results... dialog by clicking the Close button.
